Real easy - done them myself a few times. There's a great write-up online also. If you need the link, PM me.

Selling a practically new Eibach lowering springs "Pro Kit" that fits 850 sedan and S70 models (they will FIT wagons but I don't know how it would sit). They have only 500 miles on them and are in excellent shape - they're still in their original Eibach box. There are a lot of springs available for these cars and I think personally that Eibach are the best all-around peforming spring available. Auto-X, here you come! tongue.gif

What is the model number on them? the 8410 being sold by IPD are for the wagons according to Eibach. Talking with an Eibach tech, he said that the correct springs for the sedans are 8418's which aren't carried by Eibach in the US. If these are the correct springs for the sedans i'll definitely take them.

Fasteddy5, I don't mean to be argumentative, but it would appear that you have been misinformed. These are model 8410.140 and are clearly marked 850 S70 V70 (1993-2000). If this was incorrect, then anyone in the U.S. using Eibach springs on a sedan would be using the wrong ones...? That being said, that's probably unlikely. To clarify, I took a couple shots of the label on the box:

Thanks guys,

from what i understood when i bought mine, there are sedan and wagon springs, the sedan sat slightly higher in the rear... and the wagon springs sat slightly lower in the rear... i bought the wagon springs for my car.

These are pretty expensive springs - IPD is asking $262.00 for a set, plus shipping. (See them on IPD's site here)

I'm asking $175 for them. I'm not going to post any pictures since you can see what these look like on IPD's site, but if you REALLY want some, let me know smile.gif

Thanks guys,

Stephen

if these aren't sold by the first, i'll take them. i'll keep in touch

I know that IPD lists these springs for the S70's but if you call Eibach USA they will tell you that they don't carry springs for the S70 and these springs, model #8410 are for 850 wagons and V70's. The correct ones for the sedans have the same front springs and different rears since the sedans way around 200 lbs less than the wagons.

When I called Eibach, the tech had to look up the S70 in their German catalog to find them, and if you look on UK websites for example you will find that they list different springs for the sedans and wagons. check out Roadrunner Motorsports.

If that is indeed true, it would seem that these are the U.S. Eibach springs for sedans then wink.gif

So, guys, sedan OR wagon - come and get them!
