I have decided to part out my black/black 1996 854R. Problems with the charging system pushed me over the edge and I didn't feel like messing with it anymore.

Just before it died it was running smoothly without any major issues. The brakes at all wheels are brand new with less than 10 miles.

The interior is in decent shape, the driver's seat does have a tear but the rear seats and door panels are in great shape.

Tails are flawless, have all door sills, switches, radio, etc.

Everything is up for grabs.

What color is the interior trim. Is it the dark oak/wood/whatever? Well... black/black I'm pretty sure it is but well... I can always be wrong.

I'm interested in the auto climate control, mostly just the face plate (hopefully it's in good condition), I don't care if the unit works or doesn't.
Also interested in the dark wood trim around the shifter.
And master window switch.
The trim piece on the driver side door, hopefully it's in good shape.

What the hell? You are parting a well running car because you can't figure out the charging system problem? There must be more to it than that. It's very basic to troubleshoot.

He has another car, newer, more relable and he is willing to help us here. Nothing is up. I vouch for him. He just doesn't want to keep chasing issues with this car when he has another now.

I can vouch for the car. The brakes were literally done, driven ~1 mile to get gas and back, then he decided to part it. Alternator is also practically new.

The only reason drew is parting this car and not fixing it is because he needed a reliable and comfortable car to go to work. He found that, and now instead of having to deal with selling the whole car, setting a price for it, and having the next owner complain about how this or that doesn't work, he's just parting it. I would have done the same thing.

Matt and I literally live 10 minutes from him and he lives with Jesus. I will 100% vouch for him as well as any other FL member.

And yes it's a sedan.

I'm parting the car out b/c I couldn't justify investing the kind of money needed to get the car where I'd want it.

I'm not trying to pass it off as something its not, it's a another faded old 850.

A good bit of the car is still in great shape and I'm sure someone can get good use from it.

Rather than burden myself with 1000 ebay auctions I offer it to VS.

I didn't mean to make it sound like there was something fishy going on, it just seemed a shame if you were parting the car to get rid of an alternator light. It's your car to do with what you please and since parting a car and shipping is a PITA, you probably already gave it plenty of thought. Good luck on it.

Drew, if you still have all the plastic covers/plates around the tracks for the seats (should be a total of 8, 4 for each front seat), I'll grab them. I'll also grab the trim piece holding the carpet by the front doors, it comes up underneath the dash and goes to the B pillar.

I'm in Gainesville pretty often, I could meet up with you or maybe Jesus could drop them off on his way to see Natasha sometime before X-mas.
