SH8KDWN Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 SOLD SOLD If any of you are like me you secretly daydream about sneaking up to a Volvo rig parked at the reststop and prying the giant Volvo slash off the grill. I decided the risk of getting severally beaten with a tire iron by a methed out trucker was too great to overcome.Instead, about a year ago, I wandered into a Volvo truck parts store and asked for a new one. They gladly took my $115 and bid me farewell (although I could tell they thought I was crazy)What better way to pay hommage to our shared passion than to display a glistening chrome and black, almost 4 foot long, volvo symbol? Place it above your work bench, in your garage, above your bed, or point it at your neighbors and yell obscenities like I did. Honestly, the plan was to rig it up as a hood prop for shows or tack it to the inside of the trunk lid...never got around to it and it's still in the box taking up space.All this Volvo glory can be had for the low cost of $60.
