These tires are awesome!!!

I HIGHLY recommend to anybody who uses their car in places other than the track.

These tires are a great all-around tire so far. Excellent snow performance, too. It's like driving a different vehicle.

I guess we'll see how long they last.........

I have been selling Kuhmo's for a couple of years now with total sucess! They are priced very reasonably and handle great. However they are kinda soft and do wear quicker than some other tires. I really like their tire line.

The ASX is a new design. It has really good ratings for treadwear.

We'll see..............

I've been in search of new tires, but have been reluctant to purchase all-season Kumhos simply because of the significantly lower price and lack of household brand name. I've been hearing great things about them, so maybe I'll try them out.

I paid $129 each +tax including mount, balance and road hazard(215/35/18. Discount tire co. tires.com. treadwear 420 30,000 mile warranty. So far so great.

Whadidja pay for em Jeff?

Pretty cheap for 225/45/17's. Michelin's All-season were coming in at $1000 for my car.

<$600 out-the-door with full (not pro-rata) road hazard warranty.

For the record, the best two other options were the Pirelli P-zero Nero and one of the Bridgestone Potenzas (forget which model) with uni-t technology.

The Bridgestones were sold out, and the Pirellis were an additional $200.

Wish me luck! :D

All of them!

This weekend my bar will be in Moab. Most commonly it is this one in Colorado Springs:

But I can be found in Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper Mountain. There's a bar at A-basin at 13K feet!

Have fun at Beaver Creek; it probably has the best customer service of any of 'em.

I recently purchased two pairs of these tires for my 850 turbo and have been very pleased with their performance. The first pair was purchased from Discount Tire. They had to special order the tires, hit me with an additional delivery charge and made me wait a week for the tires.

The second pair was purchased online from www.tirerack.com. The tires were $86 a piece and were delivered to my local Goodyear dealer (a recommended Tire Rack installer) less than two days after I placed my order. The Goodyear dealer mounted and balanced the tires for about $20 each. Bottom line: I was able to purchase tires from Tire Rack for less than I could have gotten them from Discount Tire and received superior service from the installer.

As for performance in snow, my son had the car during our recent round of snow storms. His only scare came on his way to work when he was followed for 2 miles by a police officer while our county was under a level 3 snow emergency (meaning it is illegal to be on the roads). He reported no problems in the snow and commented that he was able to maneuver around numerous cars that were stuck or spinning their wheels.

I think I paid $850 for my Michelin Pilot 225/45/17's last year, and although they aren't really an all-weather tire, I love 'em. Smooth, very quiet and grippy enough for my drivings desires.

I had Pirellis (excessive road noise) before and only got about 20K miles before they were shot (I think I got a $50 trade-in for them on my new Michelins). The original Michelins that came on the car gave me about 30K+.

For winter I bought some cheap (?) custom rims and put 15" studs around.

Moab!! I've been wanting to go there mountain biking, but I usually end up in Vail or BC a couple times a year.

Have fun in Moab! What's there this time of year?
