I have a small crack in the plastic radiator housing, resulting in a leakage of coolant. I am concerned that using the radiator stop leak will have a negative effect on the passages in the turbocharger. Is this a concern or can it be ignored and used to help temporarily repair the leak?
Thanks Guys.

From everything I have seen and heard, it's not worth the few weeks that stop leak will buy you. I tried to patch one in a 940 I used to own and it wasn't worth the effort. There is a high probablility it will gum up something that you don't want to have gummed. Just pony up the cash and get a new radiator.

can you post a pic of the area that is leaking? I have used fiberglass before to fix a radiator crack
I figured if it didnt fix it I wasnt out a whole lot. Truck ran great till I wrecked it. Fiber patch stayed on for 18+ months

The new radiator will be on its way in a few days, i just need something to hold up and prevent me from having to buy a new jug of coolant everyday. The crack is right below the upper radiator hose, i will try fiberglass or jb weld and see what that will do, thank you for your replys.

use a dremal or something similar to rough up the surface good. it wil only take a couple of strips of fiberglass
