e.d. Rating: 2 Comments: i've never had any repair work done there, but
their parts department is terrible. I don't think the people working in the
parts dept know the difference between a lug nut and a brake pad. one guy even
told me volvo never made 240 turbo's in 1985 and then went so far as to say
i was calling him a liar and that someone had pulled a "fast one" on me when
they sold me my 245Ti by saying it was an '85 when it was really an '84. i told
him i could prove it was an '85 by looking at the vin # but he didn't believe
me. all i know is after dealing with their parts dept, i wouldn't dare pull
my car into any of their repair bays even if they paid me to work on my brick.
Aaron J. Rating: 8 Comments: I read the review of this dealership on
the site (I'm a new visitor here, been combing the archives for a day or two
now), and I felt obliged to chip in my experiences with them. I had a very short
and simple telephone conversation with someone in their service department,
who went well out of his way to diagnose my problem, and offer assistance. From
a first glance I thought I had a Battery light on, on the dash lights, but after
a conversation with the nice guy in the service department, and his knowledgeable
suggestion that it was a common mistake to mis-read the low-coolant light as
a battery light, I went back and had a second look at it and indeed he was correct.
All things considered, he was knowledgeable, both of the car's likely problems, and likely solutions. I would not normally have dealt with this dealership (my Fiancee' is a UNC Chapel Hill Student, we were leaving from here on a long trip when I called the dealership, not my usual mechanic), but I felt inclinded to relay my experiences with them. I don't claim to have brought them any complicated problems, but for this one they did quite fine.

Lynn Rating: 10 Comments: I have a 1998 S90. This is my 1st Volvo. I
really love my car and the dealership I take my car to. The Service Department
is exceptionally clean. The Technicians always answer my questions and fix the
problem on the 1st visit. I even got a loaner car, which I never got with my
last car. The Service Manager is able to make my appointment to fit my schedule.
I would highly recommend this dealership.

Gino Lamberti Rating: 2 Comments: Sales.......excellent General Manager......great
Service department.......no attention to detail despite repeated chances. Things
overlooked on 97 855 T5: Upper Torque rod bushing; Turbo seal; Transmission
slippage; Rear rotors; improper lug nut torque (one fell out from normal driving);
and service department uses your car as a race car on test drives. I would recommend
this dealership if major improvements are made.
