DKNY Rating: 3 Comments: Courtesy cars are always not availble at any time. Having lots of uncomfortable servicing experience with the dealer. They are hardly replace the defect parts(only fixed it, and working o.k. for only a while) not until the warranty is expired.
Anonymous Rating: 10 Comments: Contrary to DKNY's experience, I thought Docksteaders was EXCELLENT, I always get loaner cars, the staff is very helpfull and knowledgable. My car is always fixed right the first time and is still going fine. There is no other place in the city that is as good, I have tried them all!!

The Safety done on the car was terrible requireing new tires brakes and rotors to be installed within 20,000km of purchase. To top it off the service department is the most incompetent I have seen with the poorest customer service. Beware!
Trond Rating: 1 Comments: This dealership is the absolute worst dealership I have ever been to! I took my '98 S70T5 up there (from Grand Forks, North Dakota) to get it serviced, and the service was absolutely aweflu! They told me they were going to "Winterize" my baby, but that turned out to be a really expensive oil-change.(225$) That's all they did! Aanother thing is that they knew that I was a student at UND, and only had one day to spend in Winnipeg but it still took them * hours to change my oil... Do you get the picture? I am from Norway, and the service at european dealerships are out of this world! Matthon Volve drags the fine Volvo name through the mud with their terrible service. DO NOT take your babies there!

Anonymous Rating: 5 Comments: Sales experience was a nightmare, as most of the staff have English as a second language, however they have made up for it with customer service on the maintenance front. For the few times I've had an oil change and scheduled maintenance done, they were polite, fast, and competent with the work. Haven't yet had to deal with prices on replacement parts or labour as everything so far was covered by the 3-year/40000Km free maintenance plan they offered when I bought the car.
Geoff W Rating: 5 Comments: Have not had good experience. Service staff pushes unnecessary repairs. After routine service, came out with $1000 estimate for a bunch of work. Only 1/3 of work really required and labour estimate was high (verified by former Volvo mechanic)

I approched them with a problem in the my 850's alignment...and they told me i have to replace the whole suspension assembly for 3500 cdn dollars!! so i shoppped aorund for a while, i went to volvo villa at yonge and steels in north york and they found out that the only problem is a worn tie rod and ball joint, and the total incl labor and alignment is only 1000 dollars!!!! Volvo villa is clean and nice, and the wait is always short. I even got a nice clean S70 as a courtesy car!! robert motors are bad!

Anonymous Rating: 6 Comments: Parts staff is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful, and always tries to give wholesale prices for parts to regular customers. As I own three late model Volvos, I am constantly at the dealer for one thing or another. Beware, however, of service reception staff. Despite the fact that I own three Volvos, they are never willing to provide courtesy cars (they have ten), are condescending and rude, and try and bilk you for every service dollar you spend. Unknowledgable customers beware. Try instead Volvo Durham in Pickering, Ontario for service. Service staff is much friendlier and tries to explain everything in layman's terms.
