Changing a Tire 850
From Volvospeed

Before you begin
Safety should be priority one.
Make sure the car is in Park(automatic) or Reverse (manual).
Insure the emergency brake is on.
Be sure you are on a hard level surface.
Chock both front and rear tires on the side of the car that is not being lifted.
Never put any part of your body under the car, when it is supported only by the jack.
If you are not completely confident of your ability do not attempt to change the tire.

The first step in removing the tire is to break lose all of the bolts about 1/2 turn while the car is on the ground. Once this is accomplished, turn your attention to jacking up the car. The next section assumes that you are using the factory jack. Locate the factory jack attachment on the car. It is located in the middle of the front door area under the car. Now position your jack on the jack attachment shown below as instructed in your operators manual.

Making sure your properly secured jack is under the car square and has not shifted, slowly start to raise the car by turning the handle clockwise. You should see something like what is in the picture below. Once the desired tire is off the ground, stop. Now turn your attention to the tire once again.

Loosen and remove all of the lug nuts. Then remove the tire. When you replace the tire, the new one should be installed in the same orientation. There is a stud that will help you achieve this. Now replace the lug nuts. Tighten them on till they are snug. Lower the car and remove the jack. Now using the pattern shown below tighten the lug nuts one at a time to the specified torque using a calibrated torque wrench. Continue to work your way around until all are at the appropriate torque setting. You can reference the correct torque setting at Torque Specs.
